The Toys for Kids Toy Drive and newly added Shop, Drop & Roll with a Firefighter in 2023 are heartwarming holiday events in collaboration with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Camillus House, and Walmart.

With the support of Walmart’s Sparks Good grant funds, Shop, Drop & Roll with a Firefighter brings together firefighters and cadets from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to help children in need shop for toys and spread joy during the season of giving. Additionally, from mid-November till December 25th, firefighters, businesses, and residents are encouraged to donate new and unwrapped toys to any Miami-Dade Fire Rescue fire station for the annual Toy for Kids Toy Drive benefiting many children in need throughout Miami-Dade County.

Thanks to generous support from Walmart and the compassion of our first responders and the community, this initiative brings hope, smiles, and a sense of togetherness to children and families facing financial hardship, proving that our firefighters are heroes both on and off duty.

If you are a business, school, church, etc., that wishes to donate new and unwrapped toys to our Toy for Kids Toy Drive please email charities@loal1403.org between November 1 and December 1, and we will send you a form to complete.
